The fashion industry regularly showers us with new trends. At the same time, trends change weekly and the quality of the goods drops sharply. Zara and H&M are selling more than ever, the fast fashion industry is booming. On average, a piece of clothing is worn only three times before it is thrown away. Clothing pollutes our environment through unregulated disposal and non-sustainable materials, such as polyester, but also through cheap production in developing countries our climate.

We must now position ourselves clearly, Green Fashion is one answer. Recycled or organic materials, short transport routes and long shelf life characterize these products. A niche that is developing against the general trend and is perhaps a solution.

Green fashion is not only sustainable, but also fair. The production of green fashion is not like most fast fashion companies in third world countries to produce so quickly cheap goods, but mostly in small domestic factories. Likewise, through domestic production less C02 is emitted during transport than in fast fashion production. Also in the choice of materials is very careful to sustainability, which are not only environmentally friendly in the disposal but are also durable.

So what's stopping you from saving our planet, it's just a small step. Consciously but with much effect.
